Our Judges/Coaches for 2018 are:
Sarah grew up mostly in Montrose, and joined her first band as lead singer in 2001 with Ruby Skye in Grand Rapids, MN. She was with the R&B/Jazz group for almost 3 years and joined the Army shortly after her departure. She spent 2 years serving, and 7 more years as a military family and being mother to Cora, now 10, and Kale, 7. She earned her BA in General Education during this time, but chose to pursue a different career path. She returned to Montrose in 2015, and now works with her best friend, Kerri Noonan-Inda, as a Realtor Licensed Personal Assistant at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Montrose Real Estate Group.
Sarah sang in the Montrose bands Bump City and Farmer in the Sky, and now sings actively at Grace Community Church on the worship team. You are likely to see her singing the National Anthem around the area at local events. She loves Colorado, the outdoors, 40s and 50s music (the most!), reading, sewing and creative arts, her “book club,” and serves as Secretary on the P.E.E.R. Kindness board, a non-profit community organization geared toward anti-bullying and kindness. She looks forward to being able to use her experience performing in front of crowds to help guide contestants in this year’s Voice of the San Juans competition, and provide lasting mentorship to the vocalists she works with.
We thank our judges for volunteering their experience, time, talent, and passion for music to help our event be a success!
